a personal approach to college essay coaching.
Why work with Daisy?
As a student at Barnard College of Columbia University, I understand the importance of getting accepted into a school that is the best fit for you. With a year of college essay tutoring experience and countless writing accolades, both academic and creative, I am the perfect coach for your child’s college essay journey.
After achieving a 4.0 GPA at UCLA’s film school, I transferred to Barnard College. Given my experience navigating the college process not once—but twice—I have a particular understanding of not only the structure but the function of college essays.
I am the recipient of three National Scholastic writing awards as well as two screenwriting awards from festivals in Nebraska and Washington.
My experience as an editor for my high school paper for three years provided me with skills in grammar and punctuation editing, idea generation, and structural formatting.
Students who have worked with me on essay coaching have gotten into schools such as Haverford, Loyola Marymount, and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
